Support MoCo Arts during NH Gives June 7-8

Help provide arts education opportunities for every child during online giving event.

NH Gives kicks off its 24 hours of giving at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7 and ends Wednesday, June 8 at 5 p.m. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, MoCo Arts, a family-centered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, believes that all children should have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts. Offering classes in dance and theatre for ages 18 months to 18+ years and multi-arts camps for ages 4 through grade 12 in downtown Keene, NH, MoCo provides high-quality arts education in a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that welcomes all students, beginner through advanced.

As part of the organization’s belief that the arts are for all and its commitment to keeping arts education accessible, MoCo Arts provides up to $79,000 in tuition assistance annually. Your support during NH Gives, will help MoCo continue to provide tuition assistance and access to high-quality arts education in the community.

“I often think about how lucky I have been to have MoCo Arts in my life. To have a place where young people can experience the arts with passionate and supportive people around them is not something that I take for granted,” says alumnus, Lily Bond, “I felt safe and supported by my teachers and peers … MoCo gave me confidence in myself along with a place of belonging and acceptance.”

Dance instruction includes ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and modern for all skill levels, and select dance classes for adults. Theatre includes straight theatre, musical theatre, and theatre workshops for students in grades 2 through 12. MoCo’s Young Arts program, starting at just 18 months, offers a fun introduction to dance and theatre. Every child is given the opportunity to participate in a fully produced performance. MoCo does not charge fees for performance participation, costumes, or have any hidden costs.

MoCo Arts is devoted to inspiring youth through movement and creative expression, building confidence in our children, and is invested in community arts education. NH Gives is just one way you can help support MoCo and its continued dedication to the arts. To learn more about MoCo Arts, visit moco.org.
