MoCo Arts School of Dance invites the public to Cinderella, its end-of-year dance performance generously sponsored in part by True North Networks, on Saturday, June 4 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 5 at 2 p.m. at Keene State College’s Redfern Arts Center.

With the help of her Fairy Godmother and friends, Cinderella escapes the wickedness of her stepfamily and finds true love in this timeless fairytale. Whether laughing from the silliness of the stepsisters, feeling one’s heart grow with the magical romance of Cinderella and the Prince, or simply enjoying the beauty of dance, this production offers something special for everyone.

“It has been such an amazing opportunity for me to play Cinderella,” states Fiona Fitzpatrick. “Every dance class is a different piece of the puzzle. We’re learning how to partner, which is a unique challenge and something I’ve never done before.” Fiona graduates from MoCo Arts this year alongside her classmates, Mia Hennum and Willow Morrison who are leading the show with her as the evil stepsisters. “This role is such an honor for me, and I’m lucky to be dancing alongside my best friends and some of the most talented people I know.”

MoCo Arts’ School of Dance offers a variety of classes for students in grades 2 through 12. Children younger than 2nd grade are invited to join MoCo’s Creative Dance program, a fun introduction to different styles of dance. MoCo welcomes all students where they are in their movement and creative arts journey – beginners through advanced, regardless of their family’s ability to pay; tuition assistance is available for year-round arts education classes and multi-arts vacation and summer camps.

General admission tickets to Cinderella are $21, senior and youth tickets are available for $15, and a livestream option is offered for the Saturday night performance for $40. Tickets are available now at the Redfern Arts Center Box Office, online at keene.universitytickets.com, or by calling (603) 358-2168.
