February Vacation Camp

KEENE, NH – MoCo Arts’ multi-arts vacation camps are the perfect way for your child to explore the arts while having fun and building confidence. Campers will dance, act, sing, and create fun art projects built around each camp’s theme. Vacation camp is open to students ages 4 years through grade 6 and runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drop-off is between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. After-care options are available until 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On the last day of camp, students will perform a musical where they showcase the skills they’ve learned over the week. Registration is open for both April and February vacation camp. February vacation camp runs from February 20 through 24. This year’s theme is Rainforest Rumble, based on the book The Great Kapok Tree. Campers will sing, dance, and act about the importance of preserving the rainforest. Students will learn about rare animals, sing in other languages, and dance to a South American beat while making new friends. A performance on the last day of camp will showcase all that campers have learned including newfound confidence and teamwork skills.

April vacation camp runs from April 24 through 28. This year’s theme is Buggin’ Out! Campers will get creepy, crawly, flit, and flutter. From ants to butterflies, this week will give students an immersive look at the world of insects from the perspective of the performing arts. Sing, dance, act and perform in a musical theatre production on the last day of camp. Campers receive two free tickets to their show performed on the Friday of camp at noon for parents, siblings, grandparents, family, or friends to use at MoCo’s blackbox theatre.

Both vacation camps will be held at MoCo Arts, 40 Roxbury Street, Keene, NH 03431. Vacation camps are $225 per week with after-care available at an additional $12 per day.
