“This show is about a family road trip across our beautiful nation,” says Fitzpatrick. “While the children are learning to sing, dance, act and cooperate with one another, they are also learning about the history, culture, and nature of our country.” The story follows one young person’s journey as they discover what it takes to become a Junior Ranger, taking the audience along to several of America’s iconic National Parks.

Storytime Theatre is a musical theatre class at MoCo Arts designed specifically for young children. The program is open to kids ages 4 years through 2nd grade and consists of learning and producing a 45-minute theatrical presentation. The productions are filled with lots of singing and dancing. “Children love to learn this way!” Fitzpatrick continues. “Many of the actors cannot yet read a script, so the whole family gets involved as they read and practice together. It is so rewarding to inspire children and families alike through the performing arts.”
