MoCo Arts Storytime Theatre invites the public to their performance of The North Pole Gingerbread Man, Sunday, Jan. 9.

MoCo Arts Storytime Theatre invites you to The North Pole Gingerbread Man, Sunday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. performed in MoCo’s Founder’s Theatre in-person and streamed live!

A Note from Director Danielle Fitzpatrick….
“We start each class by chanting two important words: “Tah-dah!” and “Teamwork!” These are the core values of our class. Every child gets an opportunity to shine on stage, to hear the applause, and to feel proud. And they get there through lots of teamwork and cooperation with their peers. The challenges and fears they overcome lead them to be stronger, braver, smarter youth!
Did you know MoCo turns 30 this year? In celebration of our anniversary, I chose to bring back a show I did in 2012. As I read over the original cast list, I was overjoyed to notice that many of the cast members were still performing! As I look at this year’s cast, I wonder how many of them will continue to have a love of the arts as they get older. I wonder how many of them will use the skills they learned in this class in new and exciting ways. I wonder how many of them will go on to make the world a better place. I am pretty confident that they will!
We have worked very hard on the show, singing, dancing and saying our lines over and over again. Being in a production like this takes lots of patience and focus, a challenge for any child at any age. But, these young actors have all risen to the occasion, had a lot of fun, and learned a lot along the way.

The spring semester will be filled with even more performance opportunities … check out the great school vacation camps. And we hope to see you all back for The Boy Who Drew Cats … our next folk tale for Storytime Theatre!”
