MoCo Arts Middle/High School Play invites the public to experience Peter Pan and Wendy, Sunday, Nov. 21.

(Keene, NH) – MoCo Arts Middle/High School Play invites the public to experience Peter Pan and Wendy, on Sunday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at MoCo Arts’ Black Box, The Founders Theatre. This hour and a half play follows carefree Peter Pan as he flies into the Darling home. Wendy Darling embraces her adventurous nature, bringing her little brothers along to the magical Neverland. Soon the Darling children are swept into Peter’s deadly battle with Captain Hook and his mostly fearsome pirate crew. With so much excitement, why ever go home again?

A note from Director Laura Carbonneau:

“Think back to when you were a kid. What was your favorite game on the playground? Four squares? Hide and go seek? Hopscotch? Maybe you had so many favorites you couldn’t decide what you wanted to do at recess or on the playground after school. But one thing was certain—we all loved to play. But when did that magic stop? When did we grow up and become nomadic at our desks?

Peter Pan & Wendy is about rediscovering our love for play—delving deep into a fantasy world where make-believe is the norm and growing up is the tragedy. Our actors dove into the enormous task of recreating Neverland with all its joys and nostalgia. Together we worked hard and play hard to bring you back to the stories and games of your childhood. And their incredible work will have you itching to play a round of tag or red rover at the end of the show.”
