Journey to the Land of Oz with MoCo Arts School of Dance on June 3 & 4 at the Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College

KEENE, NH – MoCo Arts School of Dance invites you to join them on a thrilling journey down the Yellow Brick Road in their upcoming dance performance of Land of Oz. The show will take place on Saturday, June 3 at 2 & 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 4 at 2 p.m. at the Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College.

Land of Oz follows the journey of Dorothy, Toto, and her friends as they make their way down the Yellow Brick Road, encountering fantastical creatures and overcoming obstacles on their quest to reach Emerald City and find their way back home. Featuring captivating choreography and stunning visuals, Land of Oz is a thrilling spectacle that will enchant audiences of all ages.

“I am incredibly excited to be dancing in Land of Oz this June as it feels like a full circle moment,” says Ellie Fedrizzi, a senior dance student at MoCo Arts, “I remember watching my brother, Peter, in Land of Oz at MoCo when it was first performed in 2011 and I was only 6 years old. Now, here I am at 18, just a few weeks away from my last MoCo show!”

Ellie continues, “Each class has been working incredibly hard over the last few months and I cannot wait for this talented and expressive cast to share this timeless story with the community. MoCo has truly been a second family to me, and I have been so lucky to grow up surrounded by such wonderful students, teachers, and staff.”

Tickets are priced at $21 for adults and $15 for seniors and students aged 18 and younger. A livestream option is also available for $40 per household for the Saturday, June 3, 7 p.m. showtime. MoCo Arts Dance program is a top-notch program offering a range of dance classes for 2nd graders and up. The program emphasizes inclusivity, offering opportunities for students of all skill levels to explore and grow their love of dance. Students can choose from a variety of styles, including Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Tap. At MoCo Arts, students are encouraged to find their own unique style while also developing their technical skills. The program culminates in professional-quality performances, but participation is never required. Whether your child is a seasoned dancer or just starting out, MoCo Arts Dance program has something for everyone. If your student is in 1st grade or younger, MoCo Arts also offers a Young Arts program tailored specifically to their age group.
